Most Senior Knight

Iris, Head of the King’s Knights

More commonly referred to as the Lady Knight, Iris is a stern woman who takes her role as knight very seriously. She served as scribe to the royal family for a large number of years before joining the knights after displaying her natural talent for various magic and swordplay. She has always been close to King Leo, both as prince and as king, and feels deeply indebted to him for allowing her the life she’s enjoyed serving under him. She desires very much a child with him, even with the knowledge that he cannot bare children.

Country Star, Knight to Princess Hana

Nobu

Nobu grew up in Japan as brother to Touya, and was an odd child for he was drawn to the fae and Faerie despite any real tangible knowledge of the world. He did not question when he meant his brother’s new boyfriend, the vampire Mamoru, nor did he ask questions when he followed the song of Faerie through a fountain that led him straight into the Seelie court. He befriended a girl called Sara there, a witch who had been living in Faerie for several hundred years, and made a deal with King Leo that would free his brother from his debt owed. He lives in the Seelie court with his destined and consort Sara, and their five children. He is one of the King’s Knights, and often takes care of matters that would otherwise bog down higher ranking knights.

Matar

Despite one of the highest, most well respected knight of his time, Matar has gone down in the record books known as “The Betrayer” – the man ultimately responsible for the slaying of the king and queen, and the split of the courts. He envisioned a life free of corruption from the crown, and although his intentions were good hearted, many believe him to simply be a traitor. He was killed during the war. He fathered one son, Rainbow, who he had diligently trained to be a knight after witnessing his natural aptitude with a sword.
